Born-and-raised Cape Cod native Renée Levesque has been writing melodies for as long as she can remember. At age seven she began taking piano lessons and later switched to guitar and mandolin. She graduated from Fairfield University in 2023 and now plays in the greater Boston area. Renée describes her music as folk/pop and has been celebrated for her clever lyrics and catchy melodies. She considers herself a storyteller and dreams of hearing crowds sing along with her.
She has won and/or placed in the Eventide Songwriting Competition several times and performed twice at the Cape Cod Women's Music Festival. In 2022, she won Steeple Street Music Academy's Mash-ville Songwriting Competition with her song "Caroline," and in 2024, she won a Judge's Choice Award in the New England Songwriting Competition with her song "Caveman."
All the Kids is her first EP and was produced by Grammy-nominated Jon Evans (best known for his work with Tori Amos and Sarah McLachlan).
